About Us
We are a team of four, second-year Game Design students at Yoobee School of Design, Wellington (NZ). Six Shooter was made in Unity in 5 weeks. We were inspired by action FPS games like F.E.A.R, Antarctica 88, and Dead Space and wanted to create a slower paced, narrative-driven shooter where players had to use their gun to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. Our main goal for this project was to collect player analytics data and make improvements based on player behaviour and feedback.
This was a huge learning experience for all of us and we welcome any and all constructive feedback. Thanks for playing!

cant download this for some reason
Hi, one of the devs here. I just did a test download and was able to extract and play on my PC. We don't have a mac build available, just checking that's not the issue
enjoyed this game I didn't feel the need to use the time slow skill as much I made a video might have a few glitch's you may already be aware of :)
This game was fantastic, really loved the atmosphere and the music. Particularly liked the gun reload being super detailed and realistic(opening the hatch, pushing the cartridges out with the plunger etc).
I had some issues with reloading and firing where sometimes it would get would stop me from doing one or the other and where the reload could only be stopped part way through sometimes but other than that nothing not already fixed/mentioned by other commenters.
Excellent game hope you guys had fun making it cos I certainly did playing it.
Hey thanks so much for the kind words! I really wanted to try my hand at making detailed animations on this project so I'm so stoked that you liked them:) Thanks for pointing out the bug with the reload and firing states, that's super annoying. We will try and get a fix out for that soon!
Really cool game! Tho it has a couple bugs here and there I see the potential on this one. Looking forward to more updates and maybe new locations.
Here is my gameplay video (Spanish with English subtitles)
Sorry about the slow reply, but thanks so much for playing and sharing your video! It's so cool to see our game reaching players on the other side of the world:) You made a lot of good points in your video that we can learn from. Sorry you had so much trouble with sensitivity at the beginning.
hi, big thx for the game. greetings from rosti 😁
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed :) Definitely a few bugs weve found thanks to your playthrough. The team and I appreciate you taking the time to give the game a go!
😁😘
This was pretty good! Solid foundation for what could be a great game down the line.
Couple of things:
- When the game starts the mouse sensitivity is set to the minimum, and even when moved to max the look is still a little slow.
- The monsters have a habit of phasing through the walls and ruining any surprise element they might have.
Overall, not bad at all. Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to play and offer feedback. We’re working on fixes this week and we’ll definitely make these two a priority:)
Pretty cool, i dig it. One problem though. The sensitivity needs to be turned up badly. It was so low on the max setting that i almost couldn't play it.
Thanks fo playing and sharing the video. Sorry the sensitivity was low for you. We will upload a fixed version ASAP.Out of curiosity, what resolution is your monitor and you’re mouse DPI?
I'm not sure about the mouse. How do i check that? And I'm actually playing on a 720 tv right now but my pc is set to 1920x1080 so it will record games properly. It's a temp setup until i move at the end of summer. I don't think that would affect anything though, would it?
Some mice let you control their Sensitivity outside of the games you play. We actually upped the games sensitivity scale a couple days ago when I noticed it was super low for me (I pay on a pretty low sens 800dpi), but fine for my teammates. But it’s clearly still way too low for some users. Don’t think the tv would be the issue, just trying to rule things out. Thanks for helping us learn and improve:)

good game
Hey thanks for playing our game, your videos are awesome feedback for our learning! Really cool to see you working your way through the level, I was so impressed that you made it through that door, haha :)
Main-programmer here, was a great time watching your play-through of the game! Definitely nice to see a fresh take on it, given how much testing we as the developers did. Thanks for taking the time to go through it all though. Its much appreciated, and showed a lot of things that could be further worked on :D
not bad
Thanks!
